Portfolio Introduction?

Morning - hope everyone is ready for a new week!!

I am just sorting through my portfolio and I was wondering if anyone has an "introduction" to theirs at all and, if so, what it says? I feel like mine should have something to explain what is in there and why and why it is arranged like it is (under the ECM headings). Is this worth doing, or a waste of time do you reckon?
