Hi

Does anyone know of a good ( and hopefully cheap) site to buy pre-school tables and chairs?

I have a folding ikea table at the moment in the playroom which suited my girls fine before I started minding again, but its too high for pre-schoolers.

We have this week been using my kitchen table with mindees in booster seats, I haven't eally got a problem with using this table but would really like a table in playroom more suitable for the mindees ages.

Thanks

Jackie

I have a couple of these, just make sure you varnish them first!

I use ikea lack tables , either individually or 4 pushed together in a square to make a larger area for craft. Think they are about £6 each .

I've also got the Ikea Lack table, its a similar shape and size to the little plastic ones you get but obviously a lot more sturdy. I've been delighted with it - one of the best things I've bought.
"mama2three" love the idea of pushing four together to make a big craft table :clapping:

i use a folding camping table for the older mindees http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_74 6971_langId_-1_categoryId_165669

and i have 4 of the lack ikea tables for the smaller ones, i keep the in the shed and just bring in as many as i need and push them together, all 4 make a good size table, i have just ordered these chairs,

I've had a couple of these from Ikea and think they're fab. I've painted the wooden bits, then covered the white parts (table & chairs) with plastic table cloth material from Dunelm. It makes them easy to wipe down & I can change the fabric when I fancy a change  I also like the fact that they have a little edge to the table top, so crayons etc don't roll off!

i got mine from Rymanns online - it was about £30 and has legs and the backs of the chairs shaped to look like crayons!! :D very cute and has lasted about 3 years but is now in need of replacement as my son rocks on the chairs and the legs are starting to look a little ropey!
