Hi,

I am in desperate need of some help in wording the following into my terms and conditions:

I want to say that i will be charging a retainer of 50% during school hols for those wanting a term time only contract!

Also not sure whether to do this just for the summer hols or all 12 (or whatever it is these days that they have!)

I wouldnt charge anything if i knew for definate that i was going to be away, so would like to make that clear to parents also!!

Im not very good at knowing how to write things without repeating myself or producing an essay!!

Just keep it simple

During school holidays a retainer of 50% of the weekly fee is payable unless I am on holiday in which case there will be no charge.

I put this in the notes box on the NCMA contracts. I also add in that retainer fees will be payable at the start of the school holiday for which they apply and that I charge full fee for any absence during school term time whatever the reason (can't have their cake and eat it)
