Crumpets, hot cross buns, scotch pancakes, fruit, biscuits, tea cakes...then dinner is about an hour later!

I take a choice of fruit to the school every day and one day a week when we go to the library I also take mini rice cakes, breadsticks, melba toast, cheese twists, carrot sticks with humous.

I find children are always starving after school, so I give them things I think will fill them up. Sometimes fruit just doesn't hit the spot!

I'll do:

sandwiches with cucumber & tomatoes
toasted crumpets
cheese on toast
cheese, crackers, veg sticks
houmous with breadsticks & veg sticks
toasted sandwich

then they can have fruit if they say they are still hungry.

I don't provide an evening meal, so need to give something that'll last them till they get home.

mine get either a couple of biscuits or a peice of fruit, when I offered more choice they became very fussy over what they had
