I had a call from a lady today looking for a full time space.
She would like me to collect her child from her house and return her there at the end of the day - not something I offer.

But basicly the day would involve

Me catching a bus ready to be at hers for 9am
Bus back with child

morning at mine

bus child to preschool
bus home

bus to collect child from preschool
bus child back to mine

bus child home for 5pm
bus home to mine

Thats 8 buses a day the mum didnt see a problem with this :panic:

Needless to say I said no

I'm not sure I would do all that ferrying around even with a car...

No. I wouldn't do it. It's not even the bus journeys that would get to me - it would be waiting at the bus stops in the snow etc. You would also be stressed about time keeping if the bus didn't turn up, or drove straight past because it was full.

'mum didnt see a problem with this'
I think I would have suggested she found herself a Nanny instead,

I catch 2 buses each way to our local farm park - takes a big chunk of the day waiting about but it is my choice and the day out is worth it - no way would I do what mum is suggesting!
