Learning journal for lo in reception ???

As the title says do I need to do a learing journal and track her through the Eyfs even though she is at school???
She comes to me 4 afternoons a week if that helps so I do see her enough to do obs etc with her !

Any help would be lovely thanks :D

Yes you still need to link to eyfs until the September child starts in year 1. Obviously yours will be proportionate to the time you have hers with schools being the main one

technically yes, but tbh when I was inspected Ofsted couldnt have cared less about the ones in reception :rolleyes:

I have one in year R and Ive done no obs since he started school. He comes in, eats breakfast and goes to school. He comes home, eats snack then goes home. Not alot I can do with that really!

Its a relief to hear the LJ doesnt need to be that much - I have a lad for 3 hours after school from jan 4 days a week.....
