parent has just informed me its her birthday tomoro,, I only have child till 1.30pm today and want to make somthing with him for mum,, hes 2.5yrs old any ideas on a quick activitiy??

salt dough hand print?
birthday card with handprint on it and let lo 'write'/mark make on the inside
bake a cake with lo
my mind's gone blank, I usually do loads of things but can't think of anything now!:rolleyes:

thats my problem today,, not got any eggs for cakes and cant go get any as waiting for a repair man!, got some salt dough though so could do somthing with that thanks

does the child have any ideas?.. a sticking picture made into a card, leaves and glitter, sticker etc..? he could write happy birthday to mummy, in his own way ofcourse!! it's the thought that counts!!

in all honesty anything he makes is going to mean the world to mummy.
Mummys love hand prints as they are lovely to look back on.

Have you got tea lights? Salt dough candle holders with glitter and sequins pressed in?

A jam jar - paper mâché it with tissue paper to use as a lantern
