As per the new members handbook - 2008/2009

NCMA are now recommending that you obtain proof of the parents address before writing it out on your contracts.

They don't state why but I can only assume that some parents have given ficticious addresses

Why would anyone want to give a fake address though ? Seems a bit weird to me

I see you have the new handbook Dee haha

I can't see a parent being happy with that

Please don't read anymore of the handbook today Dee - I'm getting depressed :(

How on earth do we get proof of addresses??

Asking for a utility bill won't go down well with my lot

You have always needed to get proof of address before you take on a child
1) In case the parent doesn't come back for the child.
2) In case they default on payments The NCMA legal team need to know where to get hold of the person.
