I have three chiildren I mind - all under 18 months old. I am trying to find a solution on how to place an emergency phone number or something identifiable on the child should something happen to me or they wander off while we're on outings- God Forbid!

I've seen the idea of using wristbands for the children, but I'm not sure they'd make them small enough for a 1 year old. Anything around their neck would not be a good idea obviously.

Does anyone have any brilliant ideas? Or know of a wristband manufacturer that makes little ones?

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Kelli

I've just ordered some of these for my older mindees (after school children)

And personalised Hi vis jackets for preschoolers http://www.kidshivis.co.uk/1-kids-hi-vis-vest.html although I realise the smallest they go is 2-3.

Sorry I;m not much help lol!

Thanks Becci - I like those first ones...they look like they'd do the job. My only thought being that the little ones topple over so often I was hoping for something with a bit more flex in them to prevent injury. They look like they are pretty firm plastic, don't you think?

I recently bought these sticky type wrist bands. They are however one use only as you need to cut them off, however for £5.99 for 100 i dont mind

I just tend to have 'I'm with my childminder' and my mobile number on a sticker and stick it on the back of their t shirt, so they can't pick it off or mess with it, I made some of my own with my logo etc so they look professional! Have got wristbands for the older ones as they are too cool for stickers!!!

yes Wendy - i've used mine several times so far - you just need to be careful when removing them.
