That's a real bargain! I still can't justify buying a new one which is a shame-hubby would have a fit!! :laughing:
I have an ELC one on legs which we use for all sorts of things AND my original ELC sand pit with lid which was my sons gift when he was 9 months old-he's 19 next week!!:clapping: :clapping: Its still in fab condition :D

well I got a call this morning too to say it's "out of stock" - NOT ON YOUR WEBSITE IT WASN'T! I ordered mine last night hon so if you get yours please tell me as I will be having strict words with them. I've got a paypal payment confirmation e-mail and an e-mail from them saying my order was placed. Not sure how they place an order if it's 'out of stock' :angry:

I just checked the 'track my order' page and it tells me its out of stock so I have sent an email canceling the rest of my order and telling them that I think its terrible customer service that they tell me I am going to get it and telling me the day its comming on then telling me its out of stock so we will se what happens.

I too ordered one but had a missed call yesterday so presuming that it was to say they are out of stock.

Logged onto Baker Ross website to look at my account an it is showing the other thing I ordered as dispatched and it just has "Order Status: Held awaiting item currently out of stock" but the money has been taken off my credit card. Can they take the money if they have no sand and water tables left?

I ordered on Monday, had the phone call yesterday to say out of stock and a promise they would refund (I paid with a debit card). Checked my bank account yesterday and no payment had been taken so assumed they had sorted it. Checked again today and the money was taken out today although they cancelled the order yesterday. When I phoned customer services the guy said he didn't understand it as they had refunded yesterday.

Not very impressed - no table and now no money either! :(

if they debit your account then they have accepted your offer of payment for the item and then they have to honour it...

I emailed them after work hours last night knowing they wouldnt get it untill this morning, asking for a full refund and saying that the only reason I orderd with them was because of the bargin, I've just checked my emails and I have a full refund for my whole order,, I payed via paypal so not sure if thats quicker

I've received an email from paypal detailing the refund of £9.99 so I'm not going to be getting one. Thing is I've not received any notification from bakerross that the item is out of stock - no email, no phone call, no missed calls, nothing. Think I'm going to email them saying that I want to cancel the whole order as I'm not sure I want the other things without the sand/water tray. If I look around I could get the same things cheaper or similarly priced in the shops but without the postage.

Usually they have it in their terms and conditions that they are able to cancel an order at any time before it's dispatched so they are covered :rolleyes:

Apparently their website isn't live and only updates at the end of the day so if they get lots of orders for an item it can be out of stock but still showing as available on the website.

Poor excuse I think, other sites (like Kiddicare) manage to tell you how many are in stock so this wouldn't happen.

i emailed them and complained, apparently they' had limited stock and a high demand', they appologised for an incovenince and are sending me a £10 gift voucher as a good will gesture, I reckon they have had a lot of very unhappy people over this

I called them back today and got the " sold out , limited stock" story but they gave me a code for 20% off my next order to use by Xmas. She did tell me they should have been £ 99.99!!

I've just sent them a snotagram - they have had my money for 7 days - only when I chased them by email today have the put through the refund. I'm not impressed at all!
