Ok, time for question number 1:

I provide snacks for the children. I estimate this to be about £1 for a full day (50p per snack). Can I put this in as a daily cost without receipts? As I understand we don't have to provide receipts for costs under £10? Do I just lump it together for the month? I am already wobbling about doing this on my own!

I used a week with receipts to work out my averages , after this I just put through the average daily amount - if its ever questioned i can show the original receipts and working out.

as long as you can show how you got the figures you will be fine. Just jot the workings down somewhere with a receipt as proof.
