I had my inspection today and was told that we were now required to have child plans for each child I can't seem to find anything about it online so just wondered if anyone has any advice or knows more? :)

Hi Phoebe,

Unsure if you are a SCMA member, but I recently seen there that a care plan can consist of child's daily diary, info sheets etc, parent relationship. If you are, search on their forum for care plan to get more ideas.

I don't think it has to be more than that.

I am new so not had inspection yet, anyone else help out?

Dana:)

Oh right I didn't even know the SCMA have a forum I will have to have a look as I am a member and didn't get too much from their info sheet. I am pretty sure my brain is on the blink at the moment  . Thank you for your help!

The other aspect is forward planning of activities, I checked with another experienced cm today.

So like Winter months do x,y,z and themes i.e. colours numbers and so on.

PM if you are finding it difficult to access the other forum

Dana :)
