I picked baby I (14 months) from her mum today at school to look after her for the first time. I've only seen the baby in the playground, barely know Mum (her mother in law reccommended me.....) and baby has never been to our house before.

20 minutes after getting here she's fast asleep! :clapping:

Lol
Actually I feel a little guilty to plonk her in bed so soon but I was showing her round and she seemed to want to get in - normally sleeps from 9-10 anyway - so I thought 'why not?' and now here I am with a cuppa and the good old internet......

Actualy, I'm wondering if I'm just really dull? She's slept for 1 1/2 hours now. My other baby girl has taken to having 21/2 hour sleeps while she is here..... Will OFSTED mind me boring the babies to sleep?

excellent!! I think I bore the baby to sleep to:laughing: he was really awake until we did the school run, and feel asleep at 10.30am walking the dog:p so sat here next to me in pushchair snoring, bless him, and I don't have to pick dd up until 1.30 as she's started lunch time club on a weds now (ready for big school:eek: ), so will leave him just a bit longer haha

She's slept 2 1/2 hours now - I have to keep going and checking on her to make sure she's breathing, even though she's only in the next room AND I have the baby monitor on.... I'm getting to that stage where I'd actually like her to wake up so I have something to do... Not that I'm complaining!

That cot bed must be blindingly comfortable - I think I'll sleep in it tonight!

 oh I am - I know when I stop having just babies I'll have no time off during the day (thank goodness for the TV.....). I just feel guilty. We played for 20 minutes before she went to sleep and her Dad's coming to pick her up in 2 hours! I feel like I'm skiving off work....
I think we'll give the 1-2 O clock nap a miss - if she's awake by then!

Lol - all that sleeping this morning (2 3/4 hours:eek: ) must have worn the poor mite out - she's back asleep again :D Dad phoned and said he's held up at work - can I have her another hour? So I get paid for playing on the computer again.... (Yes, I have done all my paperwork for today first:clapping: )

I LOVE THIS JOB - may all my mindees be so wonderful asthe ones I have.

This little girl - she has not cried one single tear all day. And she doesn't even know me. Can I keep her?!
