Baby sitting agency

Business is very slow where I live and I was thinking about joining a Baby Sitting agency, I was wondering if any of you had done this and how you found the experience?

I offers about 4-5 times a month, its not great pay (I charge more when I arrange it) but its abit axtra & it gives me time to do paperwork!

They text me the offers & I just text them back with a yes or no!

I am registered with sitters too but so far have not been offered any work less than 10 miles away and as you dont get paid for travelling time or petrol it's not been financially worthwhile taking up the offer.
I did specify that I would only be interested in working in my own city when I registered but have had no offers. Oh well, I tried.:)

I have worked for Sitters for nearly 3 years now and get regular offers.

I always get a job offered for a Saturday but I dont tend to take them! But there are often other jobs during the week. I sat last night and am booked again next Tues night.

I guess it depends on the demand in your area.

I am thinking of joining Sitters. Do we have to put down the money earned through this as extra income on our tax return?
