Anybody else hate paperwork

I have at least another 2 hours work ahead of me!

I am nearly done with getting my risk assessments up to date, then its onto the menu's then its the dreaded accounts book!

plus I havnt done any observations yet this month
plus I have early years coming tomorrow!

think my heads gonna blow off

oh and to top it all I have baby brain

I hate paperwork, I just don't have a brain!!!!!!!
I dont like sitting still for long and paperwork bores me :(

I think I possibly document too much, what with risk assessments, menus, observations, cleaning schedules, planning

I do half an hour at a time... then pop on here for a quick nosey!

It brightens up my evening and gives me a break :D

Good luck with you paperwork :D Have to admit thats one of the things that is really worrying me about childminding. There seems to be so much you have to document and write down I keep thinking will I remember all I have to? What if I forget stuff and Ofsted downgrade me for not doing it? Not that I'm a worrier or anything :rolleyes:

so two hours later and so far I have

done risk assessments for everything!"!

done my fire alarm checks
written my menus up to date
redone my morning check list

how many observations does everyone do per child per month

Hi.. Early years usually advise that there is no set rule to how many observation you should do..do as many as you want but at least 2 every term..i hope thats helfull to you..enjoy

Thanks for this Debbieanne... it does depend on where you live as to what different authorities are advising though! :rolleyes:
