I have all my application ready to send off with my references attatched. I'm taking my health dec to doctors tomorrow and my house is ready following a home visit from LA (I have two children myself anyway)

Does anyone know roughly the timescale from posting app to visit in this area?

There won't be problems with any CRBs, OH has one for work anyway and he had one when living at home as his mom was a CM and I have had atleast 3 in the past for work placements.

I'm so excited now. I've started doing little bits of paperwork, ok lots of paperwork! I've started a portfolio with 5 sections, be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve etc. I've been putting policies and parent information in that, I've done all my basic risk assesments for regular outings and my home.

I'm a stay at home mom and I love a bit of paperwork. It appeals to my obsessive side and need to get back to work lol.

So now I just need to read and re read the EYFS documents!

Just wanted to say Hi and where I'm at.

Timescales vary hugely depending on how busy Ofsted are in your area - it's a guessing game really.

CRB timescales vary too depending on how busy the police are.

Fingers crossed it will be quick for you. Enjoy your paperwork! :D
