Ive moved from working in my mums setting as a childminder to working on my own in my own place.
Ive taken one of the mindees with me and her younger brother age 12 weeks.

Last week was the mindees first week and I wanted to give her a reward for settling so well. In this setting we decided to have praise pads which are small certificates which I complete and give to the child. In the old setting we had stickers.

Ive had them for months so I was looking forward to finally giving one out explained what it was for etc. LOs reply "oh dont you have stickers Id like a sticker please"

So now getting stickers so much for good ideas lol

Could you do both and then at some point "run out" of stickers and see how it goes from then

Could you try putting a sticker in the reward certificate? Sometimes it takes children a while to realise that they are the same thing - ie. a reward.
