Thank you both of you I have left my details and am waiting for call back. I did an nspcc one last year so hoping I might only need the refresher.

Can't see why not, if you leave your details they call you back and you can discuss your needs then

Myself and other members have done the Virtual College ones, you can read reviews here, I can certainly recommend them: http://www.childmindinghelp.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=77

and if you use the Forum discount code in the Members Area you can get 10% off

I was going to do the virtual college one but our LA put on a level 1 and 2 which we were required by them to do. Only £10 each though so not too bad and on 2 evenings during the week so no wasted weekends

I did ask about online course for the future and they are looking into online courses as the budgets have been cut - could be cost effective for them and we can do in our own time :)

It says they are for 'not for profit' organisations, so I can't see you getting it for free. :(

Do we have to renew it every year then

Our cmdo said every 2 years but both the virtual college and nspcc say 3 years
