Do i need any insurance to become a childminder? I have contents but im thinking more about liability?

Yes you need Public Liability insurance.
Sometimes you need PLI in place before you get reg - I did the first time but re registering this time i only need PLI for mindees starting.
You can get this from NCMA or SCMA or similar depending where you live
Check with your house insurance and car insurance too as you may need to pay more.

With NCMA you need to be a member to purchase their PLI.
There are other companies that just do PLI such as Morton Michel
