This week sees Postman Pat turn 30, (which of course makes Jess his black and white cat a very old cat!
Postman Pat as a generation of pre-school children will know is about Pat Clifton, the postman from Greendale. His goal is to get the mail in time to his customers, and usually includes adventure and fun along the way as he tries to help his friends from the village.

Early in the morning, When the day is dawning,
He picks up all the post bags in his van.

All the birds are singing and the day is just beginning,
Pat feels he's a really happy man.
Everybody knows his bright red van,
All his friends will smile as he waves to greet them.
Maybe, you can never be sure, there'll be knock (knock knock)
