Hiya... Does any childminder have an assistant....I'm thinking about it, as one of my littleee's mommy's are having another Baby...And i'm already full... But don't want to loose anyone!!!! How much training would they have to do... the person in mind is already a crb holder....
PLS HELP.....

You need to fill in an EY2 form (one in free downloads) and send it to Ofsted who will do their own suitability checks and enhanced crb for the intended assistant. If they are to be left in sole charge at any time they need first aid and signed consent from parents. You would need an employer's liability insurance from your insurance provider (free with mm). You would need to talk to the tax office for details about employing somebody. Have a look in the "assistants and co-minders" section of the forum in minding chat for lots of other info about this.
