Hi all

Quick question the new EYFS requires us to obtain who has PR before a child starts, What about exisiting contracts i have never asked who as PR i just assumed the person signing where it says parents signature had PR.

I think Straws means parental responsibilty?

I use MM paperwork and there is a section on the child record forms which asks about this,it's in the bit about carer no1, no2, etc with spaces for all their details and whether they have p.r.

There is nothing you can do about your current paperwork... and nobody expects you to change things in it now.

But when you come to renew contracts - which will probably be best done in September anyway because of all the new and updated paperwork / policies etc you're going to be introducing - then you can add that bit to your contract and ask the question then. :D
