Okay so have a new mindee starting on ad hoc saturdays. Dad rings me in a panic realising that he had forgotten to let me know that she would be starting tomorrow!!!!! ****** luck I had not made plans. Then I asked him to bring back all my policies and procedures that he needed to sign and return and he said "don't see the point of all this paperwork". I explained politely that it was necessary and basically tough poo.

Think he may be more work than it is worth.:censored:

I am sure its just last minute jitters on yours and their parts though

Hope it all turns out ok and you can get out of the contract if any problems occur. Just tell him all the signatures are necessary for his benefit and the child's as much as yours. Have fun tomorrow. :D

I'm not sure any of my parents see the point in any of the paperwork - and tell me so regularly!

Especially when I want them to sign attendance registers - and it's only monthly for goodness sake!

I hope this is just a start-up blip but like Squeaky says, make sure you have a cancellation period, just in case!
