Have that blank feeling!

Okay its September but not quite Autumn. Any ideas for art and craft/cookng /topics, activites that are a bit different to the usual for this time of year? I know we have Harvest festival later on but i feel a little bit blank at the moment ( okay most of the time:blush: ).
I know theres salt dough,paints collages, nature wallks help

We do laminated pictures. We go on an autumn walk and choose and autumn colour. Find things of that colour such as leaves, grasses etc (things that are thin). Bring them home and get the kids to put them in a laminator sheet as a picture. I then laminate it and display it on a window so the light shines through.

autum coloured crayons and do some rubbings, bark, leaves, walls etc.
Maybe make some 'new term' things, new coat peg labels, new photos up, relabel boxes together.
They do it at nurserys and pre-schools so why not?

love the autumn colour match idea!
we are doing 'under the sea' for the next couple of weeks or for as long as the kids want to, I will be doing autumn but not till the end of september or when they get fed up with fish lol
