Sorry didn't want to hijack the other thread lol but I read you are doing an OU course and wondered if you could tell me a bit about it please?

I've got a level 3 already but would love to get the level 4 but I can't really get to a college etc regularly so OU would be ideal (It is a correspondance course isn't it or am I barking up the wrong tree:eek: :o :o )

Do you get much support and how long do you get to do the course, also if you don't mind me asking, is it very expensive?

Thankyooouuuuu:D

I'm really enjoying it...

It's home study but there are tutorials which are not compulsory.

It's intended to take a year... there are 4 assessments which you post off and they have to be in by certain dates.

All the course materials etc are provided.

Here are the links...

Mine is funded through Cheshire CIS.

The 2 together will hopefully give me an up-to-date level 4 qualification... :D

I found the course then rang CIS and they put me through to the training department and they sent me the forms.

The next set of Ou starts in Feb next year I think although there was some talk of October this year, so it's worth checking.

OU helpline is usually very good... the course codes are E123 and E124.

I would strongly advise against doing them both together if you are working full time - some people took this option, but it is very hard work.
