Does anyone know what the current advice is for giving babies milk?
Should the cm have the powder and make it up as necessary, or should parents bring it ready made for the day?

I have a tin of milk and make the bottles up as I need them.

As far as I'm aware, formula milk should be made up as needed and not stored. In an emergency I think it can be made up in advance but must be used within a couple of hours but not recommended.

Toothfairy is right. Bottles should idaelly not be made up more than an hour before they are needed. My parents give me a pack of the formular or one of the divided pots with the right number of measured amounts of feed for the day.

You can put the boied water in the bottles at the beginning of the day for all feeds and leave them on the counter top until you need them.

This should tell you all you need to know

It is now not considered safe to use water that has been left to cool in the bottles - see very last question on Q & As
