Just a low down on my first day as a registered childrminder!
Well little S came (she did turn up after all and there I was worrying about it. Ha)and we had a brilliant settling in session!
It started off badly though when we was on the playschool run and she fell over and grazed her knee. I felt so sad seeing her cry her little eyes out:(
I didn't realise I would be as soft as this with other peoples children.
We didn't do too much, i just let her do what she felt like at the time. But she is a bright little spark and was a joy to have round here.
She only stayed for 3.5 hours, but i really enjoyed it.
She starts properly next Tuesday an I can't wait.

I'm so glad you first day went well, even though there was a little accident, at least you know how to use your accident book now!
My first mindee fell over on the very first day I had him........he grazed all his face though, I was sooooooooo embarrassed! I've since learnt that this child trips over fresh air! :eek:
