Help!!!!

Hi
I need help and any information where i can get help for a little boy in my care with ADHD It has been 5 years since he was first diagnosed with this condition. And the doctors have just changed his medication, which does not seem to be working. I I know the boy very well as i have been looking after him for the past 3 years but over the last 6 months or so his behaviour has got more out of control. He will find anything to use as a weapon and it is not only the other children that is getting the brunt of his behaviour as he will lash out at anyone who gets in his way, adults included. His poor mum is at her wits end and does not seem to be getting very much help from the medical world.
I would be greatful if anyone has any ideas that may help manage his behaviour.
Or if there is any groups or specialist that can help his mum and me. We live in Skegness

does he have any help at school, is there a case worker there you could chat with...or perhaps a local support team or health visitor?

Is there someone at your childminding training that could put you in contact with someone?

I would also see if you and mum could have a meeting with his teacher at school to see what help he is getting/could get there.
