Been asked to look after 3 children in their holiday home, 6 hours in the daytime. can i do this as a childminder am i covered by insurance?
They have said that they are happy for me to do this not on a childminding basis but i am concerned if something were to happen that it could affect my registration anyway, any ideas?:

HI,
I think it would be best to call your insurers. You could work as a Nanny for the period, or as a childminder 'babysitting' I was looking at the NCMA for insurance a few weeks ago and there's a risk assessement form to download from their site if you wanted to do this and still be covered by their insurance. Not sure about the other one...

If you do it bear in mind when you set your fee that you would potentially have to turn down other children and income from families who may enquire in the meantime.

Hope this helps
best wishes,
Wendy :)
