I have been told so many times now that I am not charing enough.

Would any Warrington Childminder please tell me their fees? I know it's nosey, but I'm really worried about it now!!

Hourly?
Daily?
Weekly/Monthly?
Meals?
Any extra charges?

I'd be so very grateful if anybody could let me know, thanks in advance!!

That's so nice of you to reply! Thanks. I actually feel ok now, because my normal charge is £3.00 per hour!! Most times I offer some sort of discount or something for full/fuller days!! x

Not near you, just being nosey
I charge around £3 per hr, similar to most local childminders but some are charging £21/£24 a day and I refuse to lower my fees :(
IMO these low fees do nothing to raise the profile of childminders as professionals in our area but it is the individuals choice as a self employed person.

I'm in Warrington and charge £30 per day, this is for a 10 hour day, either 7.30-5.30 or 8-6. If you want 8 or 9 hours the price is the same. Meals are included as are outings (though I never go anywhere that expensive anyway) I do a half day rate for up to 5 hours at £20, any hours over this is full day rate. I don't do discounts for full time or siblings, I charge full fee for parents holidays but nothing for mine. I won't haggle over fees, as some parents have tried to do, they either pay what I charge or go elsewhere. Most of my friends charge the same, a few are charging £4 per hour.

I don't live near you either I'm in Norfolk. I started off charging £3 per hour for my 1st mindees. When I started getting more enquiries I started charging £3.50 now it's £3.75. So my mindees are on different fees.....I don't do discounts for siblings or full days. x
