Measles :-(

Found out other day that the little boy (6 month old) who i mind for has got measles. I did another therad about him & his brother the other day (poorly babies). His mum & dad arnt happy as they took him to the hospital & the doc didnt even know what was worng with him & they said it was an infection :mad:

Trouble with docs is many (especially younger ones) haven't seen a case of measles and only know it from pictures in books, so tend to go for viral rash and wait and see if anything develops...

I hope he recovers quickly and no one else is affected :(

He didnt have any spots when they took him to the hospital but he had all the symptoms & it only took them two mins on the net to find out what he had.

Poor mite, hope he recovers well. As with all these things, it can be difficult to diagnose in early stages and children can deteriorate so quickly. Glad they have it sorted now.
