Hi all
My full timer (aged 3yrs, 8mths) came in this morning and started reading a book about birds that my daughter was looking at. He came out with two lovely statements whilst reading:
"I like Woodpeckers. They peck, peck, peck, peck and then they eat the wood."
and
"That is a Kingfisher!" (he was right!)
I've been thinking about where these will fit and all I can think of at the moment is:
KUW - explain own knowledge and understanding, and ask appropriate questions of others, and
KUW - Find out about and identify some features of the living things, objects and events that they observe.
Does anyone have any more areas you think this would fit? I've been linking up obs all afternoon and have hit a brick wall! Thanks in advance :)
