I have had a new mindees parents wanting to secure a place from the 2nd April next year but the baby has not yet been born.

Am I right in thinking I cant obviously complete a contract or take a deposit until the baby has been born?

Roughly 3 months. Would you take any kind of deposit or just wait?

I was thinking that. I have asked mum to keep me updated and then when baby arrives and she is feeling up to it pop round.

I know, aww babies !!

Wow sounds like mum is either super organised or a bit of a whittler!

Still, nice for you to know you have work coming along!

I had someone phone me for a place for next September yesterday!

She is a nursery manager so is aware of how quickly places get taken so wants to sort baby out and then thats one less thing to worry about.

All the childminders by me a pretty much full, it just so happens the afternoons she wants I have - just !!! As one leaves, the baby will be arriving.
