Nappy Wrapper?

Sorry full of questions today

Doe anyone use a Nappy Wrapper or something similar. We have 3 that are in nappies. We ut nappies into nappy sacks then they go out in the wheelie bin which in the hot weather still cant be nice. The wheelie bin is emptied every other week.

How does one of these work? I cant seem to work it out.
Does it wrap them better than a nappy sack?
Does it take different size nappies?
Is it really worth it?

We bought one when we had dd, we did use it until it ran out of the sausage type bags and then I must have loaded it wrong as one the nappies mingled into one :blush: :laughing:

I've used double nappy bags since then :thumbsup:

I had one when DS was a baby. They basically wrap the nappy into a sausage type thing and then you empty the main bin bit when you need to. Probably once a day. Personally I don't think they are worth it, the wrappers seem quite expensive and you'd get through a lot. Just my opinion though.

i'm not a fan either. they dont seal them any better than nappy sacks (tho diff subject but my tesco have stopped selling nappy sacks!!!) and the the cartridge bits are expensive!

i was also told by ofsted that nappies had to go straight into outside bin which it wouldnt if in one of those!

i like the degradable tesco nappy sacks, but when i went to stock up a couple of weeks aga at the big store they told me there was a shortage but they will be back on the shelves soon. a couple of days later i managed to get a couple of packs at my local tesco express!

i hope they dont stop doing them :(

Our Tescos infact our 2 local Tescos were without nappy sacks for at least 2 months, back in stock now though :thumbsup:

I use nappy bags, wet ones are put in the bin, dirty ones go in the dog bin in the park.

they havent had nappy sacks in our tesco either for the st 3 months.

I think I may just start double wrapping them in nppy sacks instead

I never liked them when I worked at a nursery they seemed to always smell. I got fed up of running out to the bin in all weather. I find it does'nt smell and the refills last ages. It can also be turned into a normal pedal bin when you no longer need a nappy bin.
