Make a pinata ( or Tesco and Woolies sell them!!)
Eat Mexican food, guacamole, nachos, chilli, quesadillas
Make a sombrero, maracas
download some traditional Mexican music from the internet and have a dance/play along with instruments

My Spanish theme turned slightly Mexican but here is a pic of the sombreros. Really easy to make but dont use the glue gun :panic:

they look great, just realised I forgot paper cups and plates at tesco ARGH! will it matter if I do it on sixo de mayo LOL the children are not yet 2, they won't know ;)

I bought guacamole and tortilla chips for snack time, and for light tea will make ham tortilla wraps and cut them up so it's like little whirls.

I wanted to get a Pinata in Tesco but they didn't have any, and I don't really have the time to make my own ( or the supplies or knowhow!!)

am off to find some traditional mexican folk music now!!
