Hiya everyone - I am new on here so please forgive me if I am asking something that is already answered elsewhere.

I am registered for 5 children and my Inspector told me that my 3yr old daughter is my 6th.

Please can anyone clarify how many children we can have under 5 - is that 5 and under, or 4 and under?

Please can you advise if my daughter will then be classed as one of the under 5's?

Also, if two of my 4 years olds start full time school in september and then turn 5 - do they come out of my under 5's???

Many thanks for your time x Rachel

Your dd counts in your numbers so so you will be allowed 2 in early years (under 5's) and 3 in the 5-8 age range.

Yes once your 4 yo's are in full time school you can have the rising 5's clause put on your certificate and then they will be classed as in the 5-8 age group
