confused about numbers

hi can anyone tell me about my numbers

i have 3 children of my own , 2 are in full time school,aged 5 and 7..... 1 at home which i know i can mind another 2 in the early years which i do ----- sorted
but what about the holidays ?????
i loose i child in two weeks as they are term time only but im all ready to start a new child all the time when i suddenly realised

So you have 3 early years?

How many can you have overall..I can have 6 under 8's. So if you have 3 under 5 and two of your own thats 5.

How old is the child that is waiting to start?

yeah so in the holidays ill have
8 month old waiting to start
14 month old
3 year old (mine)
5 year old(mine)
7 year old(mine)
omg that sounds bad lol
on my certificate it says i may care for no more than 3 children under 8 ????
not more than 2 in the early years group
and only 1 under 1 years
im confused cos ive always minded in the hours mine are at school so does this include my own kids ??

The numbers on the certificate are the numbers of minded children you can have. So if your certificate says you can have 3 under 8, that means 3 minded children under 8, but as per your certificate you can only mind 2 in the early years age group.

Looks like you'll be OK for the hols and could even take on another school aged child if you wanted to :thumbsup:

As long as there are never more than 3 MINDED children there and no more than 2 of those are in the Early Years age bracket, you'll be OK.

Ive got 2 weeks off then 1 nice easy week with just 1 4yr old mindee and then 4 weeks of:

1 12yr old (mine)
1 9yr old (mine)
1 8yr old
2 7yr olds
1 6yr old
1 2yr old
1 4yr old
