Hiya!

My mindee who is 20 months was lining up his cars and then moving them off one by one back into their line again.

Is this any good for an observation? If so, what can I link it to?

Ive only had him for 3 weeks so this is my first proper observation.

Many thanks xxx

Mine are always doing this, they are 3 now and the lines are now "traffic jams" going into town! Another mindee does this with cards, buttons, rubber ducks, animals, orange segments....... she likes to organise and count and is beginning to match and pair etc....

I've put singing songs about cars, extending it to buses and trains. Perhaps doing something with car wheels to go through paint or water?

It is part of a trajectory schema - throwing, rolling, pushing, water play... anything that involves straight lines :D
