Nursery starter

Hi have a Mindee starting nursery
And as she is very shy I wanted her to maybe meet other children in the same nursery. She is a little further a field so other childminders in my groups don't have anyone going there. Do you think I am ok to say ask around somewhere like netmums to meet some mums with children going there and should I ask permission from parents to do this.

I would check with parents first and see if they have any contacts in the school.

I think it's a bit dodgy to ask on a forum tbh... we know we're all lovely on here but you never know on some of them :panic:

Parents don't have any contacts as new to the area. Is a Shame cos most of the other children have friends from groups in go to but she's the only one going to the school. As a parent i would have done it but see that there could be so Many potential problems that it's prob best to avoid it. Do you an if so how do you go about introducing yourself to the child's new school
