just a quicky :blush:

if i reg my hubby as my assistant how long will it take, do ofsted visit. ie do we have to wait for an 'inspection' does he have to do first aid, any courses??

It can take three months for them to get references back etc.

My dh has done first aid because then Ofsted will put on your cert if he has it that he can, with parents permission be left with the children alone for short times. Useful for dropping a child home in an emergency or so you could do a school run and leave a sleeping child at home.

My dh also does the child Protection courses because I think it is important for him to have that training as well.
