Newbie Variation Advice Please...

I'm new to this site and have only been registered as a childminder since May 2011! I have a little boy of 10 months and was told at my registration visit i would be able to mind another baby under 1 year old once my boy turns 1 (I've had an enquiry for a 9 month old to start in August when my boy will be a year). Does anyone know if i will i need to apply for a variation to be able to do this?

Welcome :) No you won't need a variation if your little boy will already be 1 - you would only need that if you were wanting to care for 2 under 1s at the same time.

Just remember to phone Ofsted on your son's birthday to get a new certificate sent out saying you can have an under 1.
