If you want insurance from Morton Michel you pay £42 -

http://www.*****************/ChildMinder/

If you want insurance via NCMA you pay to join the NCMA and then for the insurance -

http://www.*************/about_ncma/benefits_of_membership/insurance/public_liability_insurance.aspx

Both have very similar extra benefits packages.

Hth :D

NCMA public Liability Insurance is £21 plus your membership fees every year. It does not include Employees insurance which you only need if you employ say an Assistant.

MM includes this insurace cover even if you don't need it.

Most large companies do Home and Car insurance even for childminders. Its a question of shopping around.

I have my House Contents and Buildings with Churchill and have done for years because they have been the cheapest.

Our car insurance was with them until this year when their renewal quote was over £700  apprently no movement and I haven't had an accident ever that was my fault and some 30 odd years ago since someone drove into me!!!

So I have gone with MM for the first time who have charged £279.
