Hi there everyone,
I had my first ofsted inspection yesterday; I have been minding for 8 months.
I am very happy to say I got OUTSTANDING!:jump for joy:
I was really nervous about it, but when she arrived and started asking me zillions of questions I quite enjoyed myself, I didn't realised I knew so much! And it was an opportunity to talk about somthing that I love doing, I hadn't really made a plan as such, I let my mindees take the lead and went with the flow! I would just like to say to any newbies like me, prepare and then prepare again. I read lots of inspection reports and realised that most fall down on their paperwork...
She was really impressed with my preparation for the EYFS and loved my self evaluation and action plans, which I am continually adding to whenever an idea pops into my head.
Good luck to everyone about to have their inspection!
Voni xx
