First Day Childminding

Hello Everyone,
I got my registration certificate this week and have my first child coming on Sunday. Am a bit confused about what I ought to have in place. We are going through the paperwork on Sunday.
I've got my certificate and OFsted poster on display
public liability insurance in place
I've printed out all my policies and procedures
contract written up ready to sign
permissions forms for outings, emergency medical treatment and photos
An important information form including allergies etc
Attendance register

Anything else I need to do?

It sounds like you are nearly ready to go!

Read through the statutory requirements of the Eyfs and you will spot anything you have missed.

Hope all goes well today - it sounds like you have prepared well and have the essential stuff in place.

Being positive - A receipt book (or a form you can print on your computer) to record the payment of a deposit or first months fees would be useful.
