I went for a meeting last night at my eldest school which he is starting in September, anyway they are staggering the start dates over 3 weeks, 1st week he goes half days and 2nd week goes until after lunch and then the 3rd week he goes full time.

Anyway my question is I have a little girl starting 1 day per week who is 22 months, do I have to request a Variation for 2 days work whilst my eldest starts?

Your son will count in your numbers until he turns 5, or so i thought, so not sure why you'd need a variation????

You will need a variation for the 2 weeks unfortunately , but would have thought it would be fairly straight forward .
Marnie once your own child is at full time school they count in your 5-8s rather than early years numbers.

You can email it to Ofsted and you don't have to scan in a signature anymore if you email.
