I received this text a few weeks ago after teenage ex mindee's sister went into hospital in the night, when I go to delete my messages can't bring myself to delete it.

"Sorry this is late but ......... is home and well again. Just wanted to say a really BIG thank you because when mum left with ........ knowing I could text you for support was something that really made a difference and it was nice to wake up to a text from you. Your so amazing and this weekend has shown me how much I rely on you! Can't thank you enough jour job is to be a childminder and yet 2yrs after I 'left' you still look after me and go the extra mile, not just with me but with all the kids! I love you so much and I will always owe u Xx"

Childminding is so enjoyable and rewarding I love it!

that's so lovely, it brought a tear to my eye!!!!

but yes, I'd try and see if you can keep a copy or print it off, cos if you lose your phone or it gets damaged, you might never get it back!

I write all texts like this down in my compliments book! I just put parent text next to it. It is great evidence both for your inspector and prospective parents.

Well done:thumbsup:

I am not very technically minded but don't suppose my phone would be able to anyway, but will definitely type it and print it out to keep and maybe ask if ex mindee minds me putting it in my folder to possibly show Ofsted etc. or if they did'nt mind maybe they could write it as a letter to me.
