when i went on my food hygiene course they said go on the website and order a folder and its really good does anyone no the website or a number where i can get hold of this?

Depends on your local authority - some do and some are avoiding the issue.
Eventually every childminder will need a food hygiene certificate and will be registered to be inspected by the environmental health... but some authorities are not exactly enthusiastic about setting things up.
I would ask your local CIS :D
Thanks Sarah. Just looking through my notes from my ICP and this was mentioned. My area is currently debating on whether childminders should be registered with Enviro Health so we will be notified at some point in the next few months about it all (at least thats what I think I have wrote in my scribbled notes).
