I've just splashed out and ordered some more Wedgits. I love them, as do my kids never mind the mindees!!!!
Actually, both G 14mths and B 22mths enjoy playing with them, but I haven't got enough for them both to make a decent sized pile yet.;)

They are expensive, but with the weather like it is at the moment, I'm really not in the mood to spend money on garden toys!

Are wedgits the same as funblocks??

They all fit together in a square/ pyramid shape?

We have had ours for several years, they were demonstratin at Lincs show and we got two sets for £20.

All of a sudden they seem to be everywhere with diff names like they are something new?

They don't look like much, but they are really fun.
Think they were designed so that children could stack them and they wont fall over.

I saw a demonstration of these at the EY exhibition in Manchester. They looked good.

I've got these - they are great. The kids all love them and even the youngest can make a model without it looking wrong or falling over. There is no right or wrong way to play with them. Highly recommended.

Did a bit of shopping round online today and this site http://www.juniorscholars.co.uk/find.asp came up the best value for what I wanted.

I also saw them at Manchester early years exhibition and seemed really good and so versatile for little ones to play with right through to older children being able to do team work to build. Maybe something to add to my wishlist which is getting longer by the minute!!:D

I got some at the Oxfordshire Childminding Association annual conference last weekend. The wedgit lady was great, I ended up buying some for my son and for the CM children, they have been the No1 toy this week for everyone from 17mths - 35 years! They were quite expensive I spent £35 on them but they are worth it.

LOL...this was my plan too, but I expect they will have to fight my own kids, (and me) to get a go!!!! Of course they are ment for mindees so will be going down as an expense!!!! lol
