When the tickets went on sale first of all I was not quick enough and they sold out. However, more became available last week and DH got them (soo excited). I have told two of my three parents that I need the day off and they have been fine, just got to tell one more. The problem is I feel really unprofessional as it is less than a months notice, what do you all think and would you have done the same as me or not bothered going?

I only have two weeks notice of holidays in my contracts so I would say it's fine.
As you say, two sets of parents are fine and hopefully the third set will be too.
Stop worrying, look forward to it and enjoy! :D

it's only 1 day so i wouldn't worry about it - you could have just pulled a sicky the day before and left them with no notice! :D
i say 4 weeks fr my annual holidays and as much notice as possible for anything else, for example my son has hospital app's and we dont always get alot of notice for them :thumbsup:

We were lucky enough to get tickets when they first came out and even better for a Saturday night :thumbsup: so I havent got this problem but if I did i'm sure my parents would be ok with it.
I hope you enjoy it. I certainly can't wait

I;m also going on Tuesday 28th June....soooooooooooooooo excited. I've took the day off too & kind of wish I'd have took the Wednesday off too. But hey ho as long as I get to see them :clapping: :clapping: :jump for joy: :jump for joy:

Parent will prob be fine. U would have to take for hosp appointment etc and this is much more important :thumbsup: :laughing:
