Sorry if this in the wrong subject area - but really confused - I have a 17 month year old a 2 year old which I do diaries and observations for in relation to EYFS. I also have two 10 year olds and a 6 year old. Do I have to do observations, records and diaries for these ages? Is it a requirement like it is with the under 5 - or is it up to me??:)

Ofsted have yet to let anyone know what they intend to do with this age group when the current standards stop in September... but for what it's worth, it won't be eyfs as that only runs to age 5 :D

I don't keep formal observation records of school-aged children but I do take lots of photos and keep them in an album with a description of what's going on.
